PICK-UP DAY
On the day you come to pick up your pullets, you are in for some action and excitement! Pick-up days are our favorite days of the year.
IMPORTANT NOTE: please allow plenty of time to load as we don’t schedule specific customer appointments and sometimes there is a line that causes some wait time. We do everything thing we can to get customers loaded as expeditiously as possible and we thank you kindly for your patience!
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be given a window of time on a specific day to pick up your pullets. As you enter the lot, you will first approach a cashier’s table where your payment will be received and information given. From there you will be directed to the loading area. Our personnel will be happy to do all the loading for you or you may help. Getting you your exact quantity or ordered birds is extremely important to us so we count audibly and encourage you to follow along so we’re all on the same page.
For larger orders many people bring livestock trailers to load them loose on, while customers with small and medium orders use everything from poultry crates to dog kennels to cardboard boxes. We also sell pullet crates and totes for those interested.
