It was 2017 and our founder and leader Tim Deaton was always looking for healthy projects to keep his young family busy. One was a small flock of laying hens to feed and gather eggs from.

The next was, after realizing that other neighbors and friends needed new hens on a regular basis, buying ready-to-lay hens in volume so that everyone together got better pricing. Orders were constantly taken and added to a list and then regular pick-up days were scheduled. On those exciting days, Tim’s daughters Brooke and Kaci were in charge of the cashier’s table while Tim and his son Quinn loaded the pullets into crates, dog kennels, cardboard boxes, and anything else the customers brought to carry their pullets in. And yes, one time they even loaded pullets loose into the back of an SUV at the direction of the (questioned) customer.

Well, neighbors and friends kept telling neighbors and friends and our enterprise has consistently grown year after year until its current state still very similar in nature but on a larger scope with more employees and helpers. Over the years, we’ve greatly enjoyed building valued relationships with many repeat customers and all throughout the poultry industry.

Recently, we’ve added related products such as egg cartons, poultry crates, and more to better serve our customers. We are also planning process and facility improvements to continue to make your pullet procurement process even easier.
